Hotel Management & Consulting is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Administrative Assistant to join our HR team. This is an entry-level role ideal for new grads or individuals seeking to begin a career in administration or HR.

Primary Duties:
  • Support daily administrative tasks, such as organizing mail, assigning emails in shared inboxes, managing employee files, and managing company contact lists.
  • Help with managing employee time records, including timesheet approvals and PTO tracking.
  • Assist Payroll & Benefits Manager with payroll processing, managing payroll related documents, and reports.
  • Assist with the onboarding process, including onboarding hotel employees, employee benefit enrollments and new hire documentation.
  • Help prepare reports and other documentation as needed for HR and payroll functions.
  • Support the coordination of open enrollment for benefits and other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Participate in HR team meetings and contribute to process improvements.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School diploma required; recent graduate or current pursuit of associates or bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or related field preferred.
  • At least one year of administrative or office support experience in a professional role, through education, or internships.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; experience with HR systems a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong sense of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
Physical Requirements:
  • Frequently required to sit, stand, talk, and hear.
  • Must occasionally lift office products and supplies up to 20 pounds.
