Job Summary:
The Housekeeping Inspector is responsible for inspecting guest rooms and public areas to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance. This position works closely with housekeeping attendants and supervisors to maintain a consistent and welcoming environment for all guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect cleaned guest rooms and public areas for cleanliness, condition, and presentation
Report and document any deficiencies or maintenance issues
Provide feedback to room attendants and assist with training and quality assurance
Ensure all housekeeping standards and brand expectations are met or exceeded
Communicate effectively with the front desk and maintenance teams regarding room status and service needs
Assist in scheduling, inventory, and other housekeeping duties as needed
Model professionalism and uphold safety and sanitation standards
Qualifications:
Previous housekeeping or inspection experience in a hotel or similar environment preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and time management skills
Ability to stand, walk, and inspect rooms for extended periods
Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed
