Our busy hotel is looking for an enthusiastic leader with great sales skills and a customer-focused approach to be our next sales manager. You will add passion and creativity to our sales team, as well as build a strategy to reach and exceed revenue targets through outside sales calls, on-site visits and sales tours, and community networking.


You will also be able to increase sales by monitoring local market trends and competitor activity in order to find and close business leads. We are searching for someone with at least 3 years of sales and marketing expertise, as well as a love for meeting new people and providing exceptional customer service.   • Regularly visit client sites to establish strong relationships and showcase our services.
  • Engage with clients to understand their business objectives, needs, and budget considerations.
  • Collaborate with clients to plan and execute events from inception to completion, ensuring all guest requests are met.
  • Negotiate pricing and add-value proposals with clients.
  • Prepare contracts and obtain signatures to formalize agreements.
  • Follow up promptly with prospective clients, providing any additional information needed to move forward.
  • Manage logistical details using appropriate event management tools to coordinate with on-site teams and clients effectively.
  • Draft and share correspondence, Banquet Event Orders, reports, and group details.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales coordinator to ensure reservations and group room blocks are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Oversee all aspects of events, including deadlines and contracts, to ensure timely completion.
  • Confirm event setup details with the operations team, ensuring alignment with the BEO.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and document all sales activities and productivity regularly.
  • Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction during events by maintaining open and ongoing communication with primary contacts.
  • Conduct post-event follow-up to assess guest satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Keep all relevant parties informed of any changes, issues, or unforeseen circumstances to enable quick resolutions.
  • Demonstrate respect and professionalism toward colleagues and management at all times.
  • Respond quickly and effectively to guest requests, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Foster clear, consistent communication among staff to promote smooth event execution.
