Job Summary: The Housekeeping Room Puller plays a key role in preparing guest rooms for cleaning by ensuring all necessary supplies, linens, and amenities are stocked and ready. This position supports room attendants by pulling rooms efficiently and maintaining cleanliness and organization in housekeeping areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter guest rooms to strip beds, remove used linens, towels, and trash.
  • Ensure rooms are ready for room attendants to clean efficiently.
  • Cleaning of hotel rooms to include, but not limited to: dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, empty wastebaskets, changing bed linens, lobby and common areas
  • Perform any laundry duties
  • Coordinate with housekeeping supervisors and room attendants to prioritize room pulls.
  • Report maintenance issues or unusual room conditions promptly.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Adhere to hotel policies and procedures, including privacy and security standards.
  • Properly log, track, and secure any lost and found items
  • Assist any other staff members prior to departure for the day
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Regular attendance is essential
  • May be required to work varying schedules and holidays
  • Required to fully comply with all rules and regulations
  • No formal training required
  • Some experience in safety material handling and cleaning procedures preferred
  • Work indoors and out
  • Often deal with hazardous materials, including bodily waste and cleaning chemicals
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Maintain a well-groomed and professional appearance
