 <\/span><\/span>A challenging vacancy currently exists for a dynamic, professional, and customer -focused Hotel Manager to oversee our hotel operations. The successful candidate will oversee the day -to -day operations of all aspects of hotel management. To excel in this role, one must be approachable and detail -oriented with proven hospitality and management experience. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. <\/span>

 <\/span><\/span>Key Performance Responsibilities: <\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

  • Manage and integrate all components of the hotel including accommodation, banqueting, as well as food and beverage components. <\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Manage and resolve issues regarding hotel services, amenities, and customer satisfaction. <\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Evaluate hotel performance and implement the strategic planning functions of the division. <\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Create and implement a marketing strategy to promote the hotel’s services and amenities. <\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Coordinate with external parties including suppliers, travel agencies, and conference planners. <\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Monitor employee performance and conduct regular evaluations to help improve customer service. <\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety rules and standards. <\/span>
    <\/li>
  • To provide effective and strategic leadership towards sound governance and financial management <\/span>
    <\/li>
  • To lead, develop and manage Human Capital. <\/span>

    Requirements<\/h3>


    <\/p>

     <\/span>
    <\/p>

    • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, Business Administration, or relevant field. <\/span>
      <\/li>
    • A minimum of 5 (five) – 7 (seven) years’ experience in hotel management/tourism <\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Hotel Manager with experience of managing a similar size (+ - 220) beds <\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Hosting conferences <\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Food and Beverage Management experience <\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Proven knowledge of OHS Act and implementation of safety standards <\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Sound financial experience <\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Strong understanding of hotel management best practices and data entry software. <\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Outstanding interpersonal communication and customer service skills. <\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Exceptional leadership abilities with great attention to detail <\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Working knowledge of relevant legislation <\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Sound organisational, administrative and negotiation skills <\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Computer literacy with a working knowledge of Microsoft packages and relevant booking systems <\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Good written and verbal communication, negotiation, project management, conflict resolution and community liaison skills <\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Willingness to work long and irregular hours <\/span>
      <\/li>
    • A valid driver’s license <\/span>
      <\/li><\/ul>
