Hotel Manager

A Luxury Hotel & Spa on a beautiful Estate in Stellenbosch is looking for a GENERAL MANAGER

This role demands a hands-on, guest-focused leader with a passion for delivering world-class hospitality in a unique and refined setting. As the face of the hotel, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless and exceptional guest experience, maintaining the highest service standards, and fostering a culture of excellence within the team. Balancing operational efficiency with personalized luxury, you will oversee all aspects of the hotel, working closely with various departments to create a harmonious and memorable stay for every guest. Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years experience as a General Manager within a Luxury Hotel setting
• Must have Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
• Hospitality Diploma or Degree preferable
• Valid RSA ID is required
• Drivers License beneficial, or access to reliable transport
• Proven track record with management experience
• Be a  well spoken and presentable individual
• Be guest-centric ensuring great experiences for guests
• An innovative and creative individual
• A strong leader with experience in managing a team
• Have good interpersonal skills
• Able to build relationships within the team and with guests
• Have excellent administrative skills, be able to plan and manage effectively
• Be computer literate and have good financial skills
• Knowledge of Hotel PMS, POS and stock systems required
• Work well under pressure and have good problem solving skills
• Be diligent, self motivated and be able to meet deadlines promptly
• Willingness to teach, inspire and motivate others
