POSITION SUMMARY
The Hotel Cleanliness Expert – Stock Assistant plays a dual role in supporting both the housekeeping operations and inventory management functions. Working closely with the Housekeeping Stock Controller, this individual is responsible for receiving, unpacking, organizing and storing housekeeping supplies, monitoring and replenishing stock levels, reporting damages or shortages and distributing supplies to the housekeeping team. The role also includes maintaining cleanliness and order in storage areas, assisting with the removal of items from guest floors, participating in stock takes and inventory audits, supporting deep cleaning and special housekeeping projects.
This position is essential to ensuring the smooth operation of the housekeeping department by maintaining optimal stock levels, organizing storage spaces and providing timely support to the housekeeping team and management. The Cleanliness Expert may also be required to assist with a variety of housekeeping duties, including delivering guest requests, stocking housekeeping carts, and cleaning guest rooms and public areas in accordance with hotel standards and procedures.
