ABOUT THE ROLE: Work in all aspects of Hospitality with an introduction to Front and Back of House positions in Food & Beverage and Hotel.

  • Provides superior guest service, positively affects interactions with guests and Team Member, and has the resiliency to deal with difficult guests in all types of business conditions and the ability to work effectively and courteously with fellow Team Members. 
  • Communicates between guests and management to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Assist in tracking guest feedback, Team Member feedback and operational concerns. 
  • Communicate with front of house and management to best utilize the experience. 
  • Act in ways that will create moments of magic for our guests.  Leave guests with positive feelings about our property and establish/maintain relationships with them.
  •  Approach each situation with a “together we win” attitude, every guest every time.
  • Maintain an extremely high level of confidentiality in all actions and duties.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or reasonably requested by any member of management.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Third or fourth year college student preferred
  • Must possess average computer skills, specifically with all Microsoft Office programs and ability to learn specific technology catered to jobs on site.
  • Excellent customer service experience
  • Must have the ability to solve complex problems.
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must present a well-groomed appearance.

 A FEW MORE THINGS:

  • Must be able to maneuver in and around front desk area and other hotel areas including parking garage and baggage room. 
  • Must be able to respond calmly when handling guests and employee conflicts. 
  •  Must be able to speak, write, and understand English. 
  • Must be able to stoop and bend, as well as lift up to 80 pounds, and push rolling carts up to 200 pounds.  Must be able to operate the following equipment: computers, safe lock key machine, speed printer, fax machine, telephones, and photocopy machine.
  • May also work in a banquet/showroom environment with varied noise levels and temperatures, wet areas, and exposure to low-level lights.
