The Head Mechanic is the lead technical expert in our workshop, responsible for overseeing repairs, maintenance, and diagnostic operations with precision, professionalism, and efficiency.
In this role, you will supervise the mechanical team, manage workflow, ensure high repair standards, and maintain a safe, organized, and productive shop environment. You will work closely with Service Advisors, Parts, Operations, and Safety teams to ensure clear communication and an exceptional service experience for all guests.
What You Will Do
Oversee daily shop operations, assigning tasks and guiding mechanics through complex diagnostics and repairs.
Perform advanced mechanical work, including troubleshooting, inspections, and system repairs.
Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and manufacturer standards.
Train, mentor, and support junior technicians to advance team capability.
Review repair orders for accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation.
Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant workshop environment.
Monitor equipment condition and schedule maintenance or calibrations as needed.
Address escalated service issues professionally and resolve them efficiently.

What You Bring
Previous experience as a senior mechanic, technician lead, or shop foreman preferred.
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic systems.
Ability to lead a team with professionalism, clarity, and respect.
Proficiency with repair software, diagnostic tools, and maintenance systems.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
Ability to multitask and remain composed in a busy workshop environment.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and peak periods.
