The Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler is looking for a Guest Experience Manager, Private Residence who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. 

  

About the role 

Supports the Director of Private Residences and Residence team in delivering an elevated, highly personalized, and meaningful residential experience. This hybrid role combines lifestyle curation, operational excellence, and hands-on guest engagement. The Private Residences Guest Experience Manager plays a key role in delivering thoughtful in-residence moments, coordinating amenity programming, and assisting with special requests—differentiating Four Seasons Private Residences Whistler from traditional luxury accommodations. 

  

What you will do 

  • Delivers Daily Curated Experiences: Sets up and hosts morning and evening experiences including energy bar & juice stations, wine & snack tastings, and curated turndown amenities and others as .  

  • Manages Rotating Touchpoints: Prepares and rotates amenity offerings such as artisanal snacks, wellness items, children’s activities, bath rituals, and seasonal local goods.   

  • Personal Guest Services: Provides hands-on assistance with luggage and clothing organization such as unpacking services upon guest arrival. Offers wardrobe pressing, local errand runs, and village orientation tours if .  

  • A La Carte Experiences: Coordinates and delivers personalized experiences such as cookie baking, movie night setups, book delivery for children, root beer/popcorn pairings, and in-room spa-style setups.  

  • Amenity Logistics & Setups: Sets up, hosts, and cleans up amenity displays daily (morning and evening). Prepares carts, products, and guest touchpoints with thoughtful presentation and attention to detail.  

  • Creative Execution of Lifestyle Touchpoints: Uses visual, thematic, and seasonal inspiration to curate unique guest-facing experiences. Applies creativity to amenity presentation, seasonal décor, and storytelling elements that enhance the guest journey.  

  • Contributes to Service Design: Collaborates with the Director of Residences to brainstorm, test, and evolve new in-residence service concepts and amenity ideas that are aligned with the Four Seasons brand and Whistler’s lifestyle culture. 

  • Pool & Recreation Amenity Support: Assists with summer poolside offerings and coordinates with hotel pool team to ensure residential poolside amenity experiences are aligned and elevated.  

  • Whistler Expertise: Shares curated local tips and seasonal highlights during guest interactions. Maintains awareness of Whistler village events, trails, dining options, and wellness experiences.  

  • Guest Escorting & Orientation: Provides warm, knowledgeable escort services to on-site amenities and Whistler village, including restaurant and ski concierge introductions. 

  • Operational Support: Assists with tracking amenity inventory, polishing glassware, restocking supplies, and maintaining organizational excellence in storage and prep areas. 

 

What you bring 

  • Education: High School diploma ; post-secondary education in Hospitality or related field preferred.  

  • Experience: 2+ years in luxury hospitality, lifestyle services, guest experience, or concierge roles.  

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with iOS/Android devices, messaging platforms (including WhatsApp), and basic POS or amenity tracking software, Opera and Hotsos experience is a bonus.  

  • Language: Fluent English ; additional languages an asset. 

  • Mobility: Ability to walk, bend, lift, and move freely throughout the residence and village areas. 

  • Lifting: Able to carry up to 25 kg for deliveries and setup 

  • Indoor/Outdoor: Combination of indoor and outdoor service, depending on guest needs and event programming.  

  • Standing/Walking: Up to 80% of the shift involves standing, walking, or escorting. 

  • Lifting/Carrying: Regularly lifts and carries guest amenities, supplies, and small carts. 

  • Passionate about lifestyle hospitality and personalized guest experiences.  

  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.  

  • Creative mindset and ability to enhance the residential experience with curated moments.  

  • Excellent interpersonal communication and emotional intelligence. 

  • Able to anticipate guest needs and think proactively.  

  • Impeccable grooming and presentation.  

  • Must maintain the highest level of discretion and guest confidentiality

What we offer:  

Salary Range: $68,000-$73,000

Schedule & Hours: 

As our hotel is open 24/7, 365 days a year, we expect our Guest Experience Manager to be flexible in working mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. 

  • Flexible scheduling, including split shifts, may be to support peak guest activity during mornings and evenings.  

  • Regular workdays will primarily fall on high-demand periods such as weekends and holidays, with scheduling based on business needs. 

  • Split Shift Flexibility: Willing to work flexible shifts (could include split shifts) to support morning, midday, and evening programming and guest needs as required.
