Job Description – Groups & Events Sales Executive Location: Mexico City, Mexico Reports to: Director of Sales & Marketing
Job Summary The Groups & Events Sales Executive is responsible for driving group and event sales opportunities across both the social and corporate segments — including weddings, retreats, brand launches, and wellness events. Based in Mexico City, this role proactively develops relationships with key partners in Mexico and the U.S., representing Paradero Hotels at trade shows, sales missions, and industry events. The ideal candidate combines strategic sales ability with strong event coordination skills to ensure seamless planning and memorable guest experiences aligned with Paradero’s brand values of authenticity, sustainability, and excellence.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development
Proactively source and develop new group, event, and wedding business opportunities from domestic and international markets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with planners, agencies, and consortia.
Represent Paradero Hotels at luxury travel and MICE trade shows (Virtuoso, LHW events, ILTM, etc.).
Prepare proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders in a timely and accurate manner.
Negotiate rates and terms in line with brand positioning and revenue goals.
Event Coordination & Execution
Ensure all group and event details are accurately communicated and handed over to operations.
Maintain updated information in Delphi or Opera systems (preferred).
Coordinate with departments including Reservations, F&B, and Operations to guarantee flawless event execution.
Relationship Management
Act as the main point of contact for assigned group and event clients, providing personalized service from inquiry to post-event follow-up.
Develop long-term partnerships to maximize client satisfaction.
Collaborate closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing on strategic initiatives and sales reporting.
Brand Representation
Uphold and embody the Paradero brand values and service philosophy in every interaction.
Represent Paradero Hotels with professionalism and warmth at events.
Candidate Profile Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in group, events, or wedding sales within the luxury or lifestyle hotel segment.
Experience handling both domestic and international markets.
Familiarity with MICE, and luxury consortia networks (Virtuoso, LHW, etc.).
Skills & Competencies
Strong client relationship and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication abilities in both Spanish and English (required).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Delphi or Opera PMS preferred.
Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in managing multiple projects.
Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, site visits, and events.
