To answer any incoming client/colleague queries via phone or email.
To have a genuine warm and friendly manner over the phone and in person in order to convert enquiries to booked events.
Have an understanding of budget, targets, and forecasts for your department.
Maintain accurate client records and build strong relationships.
Negotiate contracts and packages for both events and groups ensuring we maximise revenue.
To book visits and show rounds for any prospective clients who may be interested in our venue for their events.
To liaise closely with the Director of Events and relevant departments ahead of show rounds to ensure they are carried out smoothly.
To supervise team members, training and act as the point of contact if the Director of Events is not present.
To liaise closely with the F&D Director, Director of Events, and Executive Chef on a regular basis during the lead up to an event, to ensure the smooth operational running of the event on the day.
To work to deadlines ensuring all details such as covers, table set up, décor, menu, drinks list, etc are ready in advance.
