Job Description

Join the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge Golf Course team and help create memorable experiences for our guests in the stunning backdrop of Jasper's natural beauty. As a member of our Golf Operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have a seamless and enjoyable golfing experience.

Open Positions: 

• Front Shop/Starter
• Golfer Services Attendant
• Player's Assistant 
• Golf Supervisor 

Successful applicants will be matched to available positions based on previous relevant work experience, area of studies and the Golf Course operational requirements. Leadership opportunities may be discussed during the interview based on skills and qualifications.

Each position has specific job duties and qualifications that will be discussed with successful applicants during the interview process. 

Front Shop/Starter - As the Front Shop/Starter at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, you schedule tee times, check in guests, manage cash transactions, and assist with merchandising and sales. You also maintain tidy guest areas, start golfers on the first tee, and support the Golfer Services team.

Golfer Services Attendant - As a Golfer Services Attendant at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge Golf Club, you maintain a clean and organized driving range and front area, support tournament and clinic setups, and manage the daily cleaning, stocking, and organization of golf carts. 

Player's Assistant - As a Player's Assistant at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge Golf Club, you assist golfers before and after their rounds, maintain the driving range and front areas, and support tournaments and daily operations.

Golf Supervisor - As a Golf Supervisor, you train, coach, and lead all golf operations colleagues to ensure exceptional service. You support scheduling, guest check-ins, inventory control, merchandising, cash-outs, payroll, and revenue management.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 Drivers License
• Able to work flexible hours (early morning, evening and occasional split shifts)
• Ability to work well within both a team setting and an independent setting with limited supervision
• Interest in becoming or have already entered the CPGA Apprentice or Candidate program
• Proficient in computer skills (reservation and POS systems)
• Knowledge of the game of golf and its principles surrounding etiquette.
• Highly motivated and guest driven with a passion to continually exceed expectations and anticipate needs
• Retail Opportunities - Previous retail and/or merchandising experience is an asset 

Additional Information

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
