"We are seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee the full operations of a large-capacity ballroom (minimum 2,500 guests). This role is responsible for strategic planning, daily operations, sales and marketing coordination, and ensuring exceptional service execution for all events held at the venue. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership, extensive experience in managing premium ballroom or event spaces, and a client-focused mindset to maintain the venue’s high service standards.
Key Responsibilities: • Lead and oversee the daily operations of the ballroom, including event planning, client servicing, maintenance, and staff management • Drive event sales and build strong relationships with clients, event organizers, and vendors • Ensure all events—from weddings and corporate functions to large-scale conferences—are executed flawlessly • Manage a team including sales, operations, security, cleaning, and banquet staff • Oversee bookings and ensure efficient scheduling and space utilization • Work closely with the culinary, audio-visual, and service teams to ensure alignment on event needs • Ensure the ballroom’s facilities are well-maintained and meet safety, cleanliness, and presentation standards • Set and monitor budgets, costs, and revenue targets, providing regular financial and operational reports • Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote the ballroom and attract new business • Handle client feedback, complaints, and service recovery professionally and promptly • Stay up-to-date with event trends and competitor offerings to continuously improve the venue’s competitiveness"
