Food & Beverage Manager – Luxury Hotel – Camps Bay

About the Role
As Food & Beverage Manager, you will oversee multiple outlets including restaurants, bars, in-room dining, and banqueting. Your focus will be on maintaining the highest service standards, driving guest satisfaction, managing budgets, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within a luxury hotel environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate, and manage the Food & Beverage team to deliver consistent 5-star service.
Oversee daily F&B operations across restaurants, bars, room service, and events.
Manage budgets, control costs, and maximise revenue opportunities.
Work closely with the Executive Chef on menu development and innovation.
Enforce top standards in hygiene, health, and safety compliance.
Manage stock levels, suppliers, and purchasing processes.
Handle guest feedback and complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
Conduct regular training to improve staff performance and product knowledge.
Analyse guest trends, sales reports, and industry insights for continuous improvement.
Uphold brand standards, SOPs, and company policies.
Represent the F&B department in management meetings, collaborating with all hotel divisions.
Requirements
Minimum 4–5 years’ experience as an F&B Manager or similar leadership role in a 4- or 5-star hotel.
Strong leadership skills with a hands-on, approachable management style.
Proven expertise across restaurants, bars, banqueting, and events.
Track record of financial management, budgeting, and cost control.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, luxury hospitality environment.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management, and Microsoft Office Suite.
