Job Title: Food & Beverage Manager

Position Summary:

The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Food & Beverage operations at the Holiday Inn Mobile West I-10, ensuring high standards of guest satisfaction, quality, service, and profitability. This includes the hotel's restaurant, bar/lounge, room service, banquet operations, and breakfast service. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a passion for hospitality, team development, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all Food & Beverage outlets and banquet functions to achieve high guest satisfaction and financial performance.

  • Hire, train, schedule, and supervise F&B staff, fostering a positive work environment and high team morale.

  • Develop and implement menus in coordination with the chef, ensuring quality, creativity, and cost control.

  • Monitor inventory, control costs, and ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.

  • Maintain compliance with all Holiday Inn and IHG brand standards, as well as local health and liquor regulations.

  • Collaborate with Sales and Catering to support events, banquets, and group business, ensuring flawless execution.

  • Analyze financial reports, track labor and food costs, and implement strategies to meet or exceed budget targets.

  • Resolve guest complaints and special requests promptly and professionally.

  • Create and manage F&B marketing initiatives and promotions in alignment with hotel branding.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Food & Beverage management, preferably in a hotel setting.

  • Knowledge of F&B operations, including banquet services, bar operations, and breakfast execution.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Experience with budgeting, P&L analysis, and inventory management.

  • ServSafe and TIPS certification preferred.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and POS systems (e.g., Micros, Opera, or similar platforms).
