Are you experienced in selling food products within the FMCG industry and enjoy building relationships and delivering solutions that add real value?

Our National Client, a leader in food manufacturing and distribution, is seeking a Sales Representative to drive growth across the food service, hospitality, restaurant, hotel, and catering sectors.

You’ll develop lasting client partnerships, uncover new business opportunities, and introduce innovative food solutions tailored to customer needs.


REQUIREMENTS
  • Matric, bachelor’s degree in marketing, Sales, or a related field
  • 2+ years of sales experience in the food services industry
  • Proven history of achieving sales targets and growing customer relationships
  • Strong knowledge of the South African food services market
  • Experience with food service distributors, manufacturers, or related companies
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel (if required)

DUTIES
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with restaurants, hotels, catering companies, and other food service providers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Conduct sales calls, product demonstrations, and presentations to showcase our products and services.
  • Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with customers.
  • Collaborate with the customer service team to ensure excellent customer service and resolve any issues.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments.
  • Report sales performance, customer feedback, and market insights to management.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our products, services, and pricing.
 
Salary: R negotiable dependent on experience
