• Come up with new and exciting menus in accordance with seasonal restaurant changes for both the banquet and restaurant divisions
• Supervise and train the back of house teams, upholding Carmens Group food and service standards
• Oversee in-house catering for large scale events
• Monitor and maintain labour and food costs
• Participate in regular Management and Strategic Company meetings
• Make a difference in the lives of each and every one of our guests and clients through directly contributing to the creation of everlasting memories
• Exercise good judgement and demonstrate leadership abilities to inspire the actions of your fellow co-workers and drive positive change in the organization
• Exemplify the Carmens culture by living the purpose, vision and values

• Extensive knowledge of food handling and sanitation standards, including Safe Food Handlers Certificate
• Minimum of two to five years of experience in a Senior Chef role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Culinary trade papers or Red Seal considered as asset
• Completion of post-secondary education in the culinary arts
