<\/p>

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

  • Communicates expectations of guests to all operating departments in a timely & efficient manner by preparing <\/b>proper documentation (Banquet Event Orders & Group Resume) and ensuring compliance with The Greenbrier’s policies and procedures.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Execute all events with the highest regard to guest service while maintaining a professional, friendly and courteous atmosphere that provides guests with an exceptional experience and ensures efficient operations.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Manage preparation of all event support materials\/collateral.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Completes all follow\-up and acknowledgements.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Participate in pre\-convention meetings, training and other related meetings as required.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Works with hotel operational departments to ensure a flawless event for guests.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Monitors and evaluates all program components; making changes as needed.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Proactively resolve any guest issue that arises, including the coordination of departmental assistance when necessary.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Performs all other job\-related duties as requested.<\/span><\/span>

    • Maintain general property knowledge.<\/span><\/span>

    • Maintain fiscal responsibilities as related to departmental budgets.<\/span><\/span>

    • Ensuring a positive work environment.<\/span><\/span>

      EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>
      <\/p>

      • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and\/or experience preferred<\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/li> <\/ul>

        ·         <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Hospitality experience at 4 or 5 Diamond\-rated resorts or hotels<\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/p>

        <\/p>

        COMMUNICATION SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>
        <\/p>

        ·         <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Communication Skills Requirements: (Verbal: phone, in\-person, group; Written: memos, documents)<\/span><\/span><\/span>

        ·         <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Must have excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills<\/span><\/span><\/span>

          ·         <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Proficient in Delphi and\/or Micros Opera Sales & Catering systems<\/span><\/span><\/span>
          <\/p>

          ·         <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Proficient in Social Tables<\/span><\/span><\/span>
          <\/p>

          ·         <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Proficient in Open Table<\/span><\/span><\/span>
          <\/p>

          <\/p>

          PAST WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>
          <\/p>

          ·         <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Convention Services Experience at 4 or 5 Diamond\-rated resorts or hotels<\/span><\/span><\/span>
          <\/p>

          ·         <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Experience with F&B, décor and audio\-visual set\-up and needs<\/span><\/span><\/span>
          <\/p>
