THE JOB:

Step into the spotlight with the David Copperfield team at MGM Grand as an Entertainment Tech and help bring world-class illusions and unforgettable moments to life.  From lighting and sound to stage effects and precision timing, you’ll help power the magic behind one of the most iconic shows in Las Vegas!  If you thrive in a fast-paced live entertainment environment and love being part of something truly extraordinary, this is your stage.

You’ll play a vital role in our mission to own the guest’s experience and create WOW memories that last long after the curtain falls.

THE STARTING PAY RATE:  $36.99 / Per Hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Support and uphold the artistic vision of the talent or artist, in line with MGM Resorts and department guidelines
• Maintain professional relationships with MGM Resorts team members, resident show partners, and visiting talent
• Perform theatre maintenance, inspections, and repairs as assigned and approved
• Run cue tracks, including audio, electronics, fly system, follow spot, lighting, carpentry, and props
• Set up and tear down special events as needed

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required
• Three (3) years of previous experience working a live show, technical theatre and/or a showroom in a college or resort setting required
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
• Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays
