The Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica at Peninsula Papagayo is looking for an Employee Experience Supervisor, who has strong leadership, interpersonal and analytical skills, is able to prioritize and adapt to the changing needs of the operation, and can evidence having a solid work ethic, good business acumen and a passion for service.

Elevate your craft:

As an Employee Experience Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting the daily logistics, wellbeing, and engagement of staff members. This hands-on role focuses on overseeing employee transportation, health insurance, internal communication, and organizing wellbeing and engagement activities. You will act as a central point of contact for resolving incidents, managing inventories, and ensuring a smooth onboarding and living experience for employees. Ideal for a highly organized, people-focused professional, this position requires excellent communication skills, problem-solving ability, and a proactive approach in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Essential Functions:

  • Being the champion of our internal events and develop a monthly Engagement Calendar to schedule activities that promote employee wellbeing, recognition, authenticity, belonging and team cohesion.
  • Manage employee transportation by coordinating routes, schedules, and resolving related issues to ensure punctuality and comfort.
  • Manage the employee experience inventory, controlling and maintaining necessary supplies and resources for employee wellbeing.
  • Handle incidents related to transportation, acting as the point of contact to resolve problems efficiently.
  • Coordinate and oversee internal communication through various channels, including Viva Engage, Teams, bulletin boards, TVs, emails, etc., ensuring smooth information flow within the team.
  • Support the department in organizing administrative processes related to personnel.
  • Keep updated records and manage documentation related to employee transportation.
  • Organize and support employee engagement and wellness activities that foster a positive work environment and sense of community.
  • Coordinate arrivals of new employees as well as manage the proper process of employee departures.

Requirements for the position

  • 2 years of experience in a similar role, developing events, logistics and creativity.
  • Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the Spanish and English language.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: Ability to communicate effectively and maintain good relationships with employees and different departments.
  • Administrative experience: Knowledge in document and administrative management, ideally related to human resources or personnel management.
  • Problem-solving skills: Ability to manage incidents and find quick, effective solutions.
  • Organizational and time management skills: Capable of coordinating multiple administrative and operational tasks simultaneously.
  • Confidentiality and discretion: Absolute respect for employee privacy and sensitive information.
  • Focus on internal communication: Skilled in managing multiple channels and ensuring the team stays informed and connected.
  • Flexibility and adaptability: Ability to work in a dynamic environment and respond to changes or unforeseen events.
  • Proactive and collaborative attitude: Willingness to support the team and continuously improve management processes.
