PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
My Guest
- Greet guests and take orders for food and beverages from guests in accordance with Langham brand standards and relative legislation.
- Take food and beverage orders from guests using the point of sale system (POS).
- Speedy and accurate service of food and beverages to guests with necessary accompaniments.
- Timely presentation of guest checks for payment.
- Accurate posting of charges to guest accounts.
- Answer any guest questions or direct them to another colleague who can assist them, always ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Conducts him/herself with a pleasant and helpful attitude towards guests, colleagues and managers.
My Product
- Preparation of bar for service. Duties to include ensuring cleanliness and the setting of tables with condiments, cutlery, side plates, menus and promotional material..
- Order all drinks from Bartenders through POS.
- Picking up food orders from the kitchen
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the bar/dining area.
- Adherence to AGCO liquor licensing regulations at all times.
- Maintain a hygienic and safe working environment at all times.
- Maintain efficient working usage of the Micros system and ensure that all orders are inputted into the system at the time of the order
- Complete full closing procedures and morning set-up.

- Replenish service items in readiness for next shift, including cutlery, roll-ups and resetting tables.
My Chelsea
- Adhere to and comply with all safety regulations when handling hazardous materials according to MSDS.
- Ensure correct cash and credit card handling when closing out guest checks.
- Daily reconciliation of cash receipts to sales receipt for deposit to the General Cashier.
- Follow Chelsea grooming policy. Nametag must be visible at all times.
- Comply with Hotel and Company policies and procedures.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Manager.
Academic and Working Qualifications
Working Experience
Previous experience in a similar size establishment.
Previous Guest Service experience.
Knowledge
Good knowledge of wines, beers, and cocktails.
Education
Must possess Smart Serve.
Soft Skills
Efficient and quick to learn.
Pleasant attitude, outgoing personality.
Good organizational and multitasking skills.
Languages
Excellent communication skills in the English language (Written and Verbal).
Physical Requirements
Able to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.
