HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

  • Lead the revenue management teams, training them on the skills to improve revenues, profit and market share
  • Build an engaged culture throughout the CALA RMCC identifying all revenue and profit opportunities
  • Utilize all systems within the revenue operation in CALA RMCC and be sure they are following company standard practices and operating procedures
  • Integrate with other departments, ensure we exceed our customers, owners and shareholder expectations

How you will collaborate with others:

  • Liaise with Regional Directors of Revenue, VP of Ops and General Managers to understand needs from the revenue function
  • Attend area forums, meetings to deliver information, progress updates and help design future plans and strategies
  • Ensure hotels are kept up to date with systems changes and developments
  • Support the Regional Directors of Revenue Management in accomplishing responsibilities together with the Operations Teams

What deliverables you will take ownership of:

  • Contribute to corporate development and develop technology to deliver our strategy
  • Set clear annual objectives for the department and manage performance to achieve these objectives
  • Maintain the required people and performance management documentation to align with company and federal requirements
  • Identify training needs within all teams and plan development programs to address them
  • Implement and monitor processes to ensure that accurate customer information is collected
  • Meet role objectives and develop relevant sales, marketing and distribution strategies

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Ten (10) years of professional experience
  • Seven (7) years of professional experience in Hospitality, Revenue Management and/or Finance
  • Five (5) years' experience of people management in a leadership role
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Travel up to 10%

It would be useful if you have:

  • Experience in a matrixed environment
  • Self-paced Leadership capabilities
  • Demonstrated experience with collaboration

As a Director, RMCC CALA, you will manage the team that's helping hotels grow market share and outperform competitors. On the RMCC CALA team reporting to the Senior Director, of RMCC Americas, you will lead the CALA teams by ensuring the income is stabilized with costs and resources matching demand in the most productive and cost-efficient manner whilst delivering revenue premiums.
