Nestled in the pulsating heart of downtown Scottsdale's Entertainment District, this 161-room gem combines classic western elements with bold, modern motifs, redefining the desert aesthetic and attitude.  It’s five food and beverage outlets range from a 1940’s inspired café on the ground level to a seductive Miami-style rooftop pool deck and bar reflective of the orange groves of Morocco.

Here is what you will be doing each day:

  • In this role, you will be managing and supervising all of Engineering staff and the maintaining and maintenance of the hotel.

  • You will supervise the implementation of all property equipment preventive maintenance and repairs, monitoring life safety systems and utilities and administering the department in compliance with all corporate/franchise standards and local, state and national codes and regulations to protect assets, guests and associates.

  • Preventive maintenance and repair of the hotel's mechanical/electrical systems and equipment, and for the general maintenance and upkeep of the physical plant, FF&E, grounds, swimming pool, etc.

Does this sound like you?

  • You have at least 2 years of experience in a similar position at a hotel.

  • Marriott Brand experience a plus.

  • You have the ability to multi task in a fast paced environment and have strong leadership skills. 

  • HVAC and CPO certifications a must.

  • You have very strong skills in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, pool maintenance and all other aspects of the discipline. 

  • You take pride in providing quality of service and ensuring our guests have a great experience.

  • Must exhibit:

    • Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written. 

    • Excellent time management and problem resolution skills.

    • The ability to communicate in English.
