We’re seeking a Demi-Chef de Partie who thrives in a fast-paced, high-standard kitchen. This is a role for a chef who excels under pressure, takes pride in precision, and knows that great cooking is all about timing, technique, and teamwork.
In our open kitchen, you’ll craft dishes in full view of guests, moving seamlessly across stations and handling premium proteins like wild boar, bone-in prime steak, pork belly, and fresh fish. You’ll cook multiple components at once, keeping every plate perfect, every time.
What You’ll Do:
Work under the Head and Sous Chef with a team-focused approach, delivering skill and precision in every dish.
Execute refined, high-quality dishes with precision and consistency
Cook premium proteins with expert knowledge of temperature, doneness, and resting
Operate efficiently on the hot line and grill in a fast-paced service environment
Jump onto any station as needed and perform with confidence and accuracy
Manage multiple dishes simultaneously while maintaining timing and coordination
Maintain immaculate standards of cleanliness and organisation under pressure
Follow recipes and plating standards to ensure consistency and visual excellence
Communicate clearly and work seamlessly with the kitchen team
Support prep, restocking, and inventory control
Uphold all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
What You’ll Bring:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in an elevated or high-quality dining kitchen (Required)
Strong knowledge of protein cookery and grill/hot line execution
Excellent knife skills and a sharp eye for detail
Ability to stay calm, focused, and efficient under pressure
Confidence working in an open kitchen environment
Strong sense of timing, coordination, and service flow
A team-first mindset with a passion for learning and growth
Appreciation for bold Canadian flavours and thoughtfully sourced ingredients
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Physical ability to lift, push, and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly
