Table Games Dealer
 
SUMMARY
Conducts assigned games according to procedure.  Exchanges cash for chips.  Informs the supervisor of any guest requests or unusual activity.  Controls the pace of the game. Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all policies and procedures and all internal and external regulations. Assures excellent guest service to all patrons by communicating in a pleasant, friendly and professional manner.
 
 
 
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
 
  1. Will be able to deal on any single deck, double deck or shoe game
  2. Will be fast and efficient in dealing, always striving to be better
  3. Will identify any irregularities in play and notify the game supervisor
  4. Will be versed in all games or willing to learn additional games; existing or new ones that come on line.
  5. Will attend all meetings on Guest Service Training.
  6. Will consistently deliver the kind of guest service and friendliness that our guests deserve and expect from us.
  7. Will maintain a friendly, clean, comfortable and fun atmosphere at the table.
  8. Will inform the game supervisor immediately of any disputes or mistakes.
  9. Will thank all players for their patronage when they leave the table, and express a desire to have them return again.
  10. Will continually be aware of the promotions and services being offered to our guests and be able to answer questions about them.
  11. Will maintain a positive attitude toward fellow employees.
  12. Will work any and all assigned shifts and games.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
  1. Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.  Must be able to read, understand and speak English. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
  2.  Minimum of one year and/or certification of completion from an accredited dealing school is required. Must be able to accurately and efficiently deal a minimum of two casino table games (i.e. Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Pai Gow Poker, Caribbean Stud, Three Card Poker and any other games currently on the casino floor).
  3. Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.
  4. Must be 21 years of age and be able to obtain all local, state and federal regulatory permits as required by position.
  5. Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include weekends and evenings. Must be able to be mobile throughout the casino.
 
WORKING CONDITIONS
Working conditions involve walking and meeting and greeting guests in all gaming areas. Work may require weekend and evening work. Must work calmly and under stress when the volume of business increases.  Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke and high noise levels. May be exposed to extreme heat and cold.
