Essential Job Functions

 

Position:        Count Room Supervisor    

Department:  Casino Cage Operations

 

Primary Responsibilities: (guest interaction, ordering responsibilities, clean up duties, clerical responsibilities, etc.)

·         Supervises activities of Count Room Operations

·         Must adhere to the Greenbrier Resort’s policies and procedures;

·         Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements of Count Room Operations;

·         Knowledge of policies and procedures of Count Room Operations and ensures that they are adhered to at all times;

·         Manages inventories of currency, coin, slot tokens and all forms and records relating to Count Room Operations;

·         Train, schedule, appraise and supervise all Count Room Operations personnel.

·         Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times;

Secondary Responsibilities:

·         Perform all other related and compatible duties as assigned.

·         Work as a cage supervisor when assigned

·         Acts as a role model for all employees and is a leader in providing 5 star service

·         Maintains a clean, safe hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.

Normal Working Hours: (Shift, days)

·         Hour and days off may vary depending on business requirements.

·

Past Work Experience Requirements: (Type of work, number of years required, equivalent experience, etc.)

·         Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of cash handling experience

·         Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of Supervisory experience

·          

Educational Requirements: (Degree/Certification, highest required/preferred, field of study)

·         High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred

·          

Communication Skills Requirements: (Verbal: phone, in-person, group; Written: memos, documents)

·          Must possess verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills

·           

Technical Requirements:  

·         Must maintain a State Casino Key Employee license;

·         Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide by fractions, whole numbers and decimals;

·         Ability to calculate interest, commission and percentages.
