We’re seeking a skilled and motivated Line Cook to join our growing culinary team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-expanding food & beverage program that values craft, creativity, and consistency. As a Line Cook, you’ll play a key role in food production — preparing high-quality dishes in alignment with established recipes and standards, supporting a clean and organized kitchen, and working closely with the chef team to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

What You’ll Do

Food Preparation & Cooking

  • Prepare and cook food items according to recipes, presentation standards, and production timelines
  • Accurately weigh, measure, chop, portion, and store ingredients
  • Operate and maintain a variety of kitchen equipment (ovens, grills, fryers, etc.) safely and correctly
  • Taste and test dishes to ensure proper seasoning and doneness
  • Maintain food quality throughout service and monitor using HACCP procedures
  • Follow prep lists, portion guidelines, and par levels to reduce waste and maintain consistency
  • Prepare ingredients and set up stations with proper mise en place before service

Sanitation & Kitchen Maintenance

  • Adhere to strict food safety, hygiene, and personal cleanliness protocols at all times
  • Ensure all kitchen areas, tools, and equipment are properly cleaned, sanitized, and stored
  • Disassemble and reassemble kitchen equipment for cleaning, following safety procedures
  • Maintain organized, labeled, and dated food storage using FIFO practices
  • Monitor appliance and food temperatures and report any issues immediately

Service & Communication

  • Plate dishes according to established standards for appearance and portion size.
  • Communicate effectively with the front-of-house team regarding daily specials and 86’d items.
  • Notify chefs of any surplus ingredients that can be repurposed.
  • Prepare special or modified meals to accommodate guest allergies or preferences when feasible.

Who You are

  • 1+ year experience in a professional kitchen environment (high-volume or upscale preferred)
  • Strong understanding of food safety standards (HACCP, FIFO, etc.)
  • Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Positive attitude, team spirit, and a passion for culinary craft

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a hot, fast-paced kitchen
