Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Convention/Banquet Set Up team member to join our dynamic hospitality team in Las Vegas. In this role, you will be responsible for the physical setup and transformation of event spaces according to specific client requirements and venue standards.

  • Execute precise room setups for various events including conferences, meetings, and banquets
  • Transport and arrange furniture, equipment, and supplies according to floor plans and setup instructions
  • Maintain and organize inventory of banquet equipment, linens, and supplies
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of all event materials and equipment
  • Follow safety protocols while moving heavy objects and operating setup equipment
  • Coordinate with event planning team to meet specific timeline requirements
  • Perform quality checks to ensure setups meet venue standards
  • Assist in post-event breakdown and room restoration
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas
  • Respond promptly to last-minute setup changes or special requests

Qualifications

  • Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds repeatedly
  • Previous experience in convention or banquet setup preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to read and execute floor plans and setup diagrams
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic math skills for calculating setup requirements
  • Understanding of basic safety protocols and procedures
  • Ability to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods
  • Experience with handling event equipment and materials preferred
