Position Overview: 
 
As a Concierge at Edgewood Tahoe Resort, you will be responsible for providing exceptional and personalized service to all guests, ensuring an unforgettable experience from check-in to check-out. This role requires an in-depth knowledge of the resort’s amenities, local attractions, and luxury services, with an emphasis on anticipating guest needs and exceeding expectations. 

 
Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide guests with accurate and timely information regarding resort amenities, local attractions, dining options, spa services, and activities. Assist in arranging reservations, tours, and transportation. 
  • Anticipate guest needs, preferences, and special requests, ensuring personalized and exceptional service at all times. 
  • Coordinate with other hotel departments (e.g., housekeeping, valet, front desk) to ensure guests' needs are met. 
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests, striving to resolve issues in a timely and professional manner. 
  • Assist with booking tickets for local attractions, shows, tours, and other events. 
  • Answer the phone and make reservations, take and distribute messages or mail and redirect calls. 
  • Build rapport with customers and provide them with genuine guidance and support. 
  • Ensure the concierge desk is well-stocked with relevant materials, brochures, and promotional items for guests. 
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support the overall success of the team and business. 

Qualifications and Skills: 

  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Ability to multitask and manage high-pressure situations. 
  • Exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills. 
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and booking platforms. 
  • Previous hotel-related experience desired. 

Physical Requirements: 

  • Must be able to safely lift, move, and stack items weighing up to 40 lbs. 
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods. 
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
