About the role

As a Commis II at Four Seasons Resort Langkawi, you will assist in the preparation and production of high-quality dishes under the supervision of senior chefs. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food presentation while supporting the culinary team in ensuring exceptional guest dining experiences.

What you will do

Prepare food items according to guest orders of consistent quality following recipe cards, as well as production, portion, and presentation standards; complete mis en place and set-up station for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner service .
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in accordance with hygiene and safety standards.
Practice proper food handling and storage procedures, ensuring all food items are labelled and dated.
Follow instructions from Chef de Partie or Sous Chef and ensure efficient communication with team members.
Consistently check quality and freshness of ingredients before use and report any issues to Chef de Partie.

What you bring

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a hotel, resort, or fine-dining kitchen environment.
Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques.
Willingness to learn and take initiative to improve culinary skills.
Well-groomed, punctual, and professional.
Ability to communicate in English at a basic to moderate level.
Team player with a positive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
