PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
 

My Guest

  • Greets guests and takes orders for food and beverages from guests and servers in accordance with relative legislation.
  • Speedy and accurate service of beverages and food.
  • Timely presentation of guest checks. Cash and credit card handling procedures.
  • Accurate posting of charges to guest accounts.
  • Answer any guest questions or direct them to someone that can assist them. Ensure complete guest satisfaction.
  • Should always conduct him/herself with a pleasant and helpful attitude towards guest, co-workers and managers.

My Product

  • Complete specified opening procedures, to include correct cash and key handling procedures.
  • Prepare the bar for service, including preparation of the dishwasher, stocks, mixers, ice and garnishes.
  • Maintain efficient working usage of the Remanco system and ensures that all orders are input into the system.
  • Adherence to liquor licensing regulations at all times.
  • Maintenance of a hygienic and safe working environment at all times.
  • Maintains an efficient working par stock.
  • Complete full closing procedures, duties to include delivery of empties to pick up area.
  • Reconciliation of cash and vouchers to sales receipts at the end of each shift, for deposit to the General Cashier.
  • Completions of bar requisition upon completion of each evening shift.

  • Adhere to and comply with all safety regulations when handling hazardous materials according to MSDS
  • Follow Chelsea grooming policy. Nametag must be visible at all times.
  • Complies with Hotel and Company's Policies and Procedures.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Manager.

Academic and Working Qualifications

Working Experience
 Previous Guest Service experience.
 Previous Bartending Experience.
 

Education
 Smart Serve Certification.
 Servers Intervention Certificate
 Bartender's Guide Certificate of Proficiency

Soft Skills
 Good communication skills.

Physical Requirements
 Flexible availability.
 Must be able to work under pressure.
 Able to stand for long periods of time.
 Able to lift and bend.
