Casual Banquet Bartender

With every pour, recommendation, and smile, you’ll ensure our guests feel welcomed, valued, and celebrated.

  • Starting at $19.03/hour + gratuities, increasing to $25.38/hour after 90 shifts, with bi-annual increases.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver warm, attentive, and professional bar service at all banquet events.
• Create and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages according to hotel standards.
• Guide guests in selecting drinks, offering personalized recommendations.
• Maintain strong knowledge of beverage menus, promotions, and preparation techniques.
• Ensure bar is well-stocked, clean, and organized throughout service.
• Follow all hotel policies, safety procedures, and sanitation standards.
• Support smooth event execution with flexibility and teamwork.

Qualifications

What You Bring

• Previous bartending experience (banquet or high-volume preferred).
• Expert knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and cocktail preparation.
• Experience with point-of-sale systems is an asset.
• Serving It Right certification (required).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure.
• Fluency in English (required) and fluency in French is an asset.

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Lift and carry up to 30 lbs regularly.
• Ability to carry multiple plates and beverages.
• Comfortable with physical tasks such as kneeling, pushing, and stair climbing.
