Hand Picked Hotels was founded in 2001 by owner and Chairman, Julia Hands MBE. We are currently recruiting for a Caretaker at L'Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa, part of Hand Picked Hotels.
About the Role
- As Caretaker your role will involve ensuring our staff accommodation is both safe and functional for our colleagues.
- Combining a mixture or proactive and reactive maintenance responsibilities.
- Conducting general hotel maintenance, looking after the property and the staff accommodation like it’s your own.
- Be responsible for scheduling regular health and safety checks, ensuring Hand Picked Hotels adheres to all regulatory standards.
- You will be responsible for the upkeep of the facilities to the highest standards to deliver an excellent experience.
- Most of all we will want you to be inspired, have fun and enjoy being part of our Hand Picked Team.
About you:
- To be considered for this role you will have previous experience in Maintenance and a wide range of skills and knowledge.
- A valid clean driving licence will be a requirement for this role.
- You’ll be motivated by keeping this historic Hotel looking her best and in excellent working order.
- Enjoy being responsible and taking ownership of the safety and security of the Hotel and all of its guests is paramount for this role.
- You’ll enjoy working with people and building a rapport with your colleagues and guests.
- Most of all, you’ll have a professional, organised and friendly approach.

- This is a Full-Time role working 5 days out of 7 including weekends on a rota basis, 40 hours per week, which may vary depending on business needs.
