Job Description

  • Keeping games balanced by seating new players at the appropriate tables.
  • Signing players up on the wait list if seats are not currently available.
  • Calling players on the wait list in order to fill vacant seats.
  • Establish business relationships with guests through excellent customer service by smiling, making eye contact, and attentively listening to guests’ needs while making a reasonable effort to accommodate.
  • Answering phones in a polite, professional manner.
  • Answering guest inquiries in a polite, courteous manner.
  • Making regular announcements both in the poker room, as well as the casino when seats are available.
  • Making announcements in the poker room to apprise players of promotions.
  • Assisting the Shift Manager/Floor Supervisor in conducting promotions by announcing rules, giving status updates, and announcing winners when applicable.
  • Other duties such as assisting in maintaining a clean, safe environment for guests and fellow team members.
  •  Other duties as assigned by Management

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with hand-held microphones, phones, and computers required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong organizational skills.
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Must possess flexibility to bend and reach.
  • Must be able to withstand noise for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to speak on the departmental public address system for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations
