Cage Cashier
 
 
POSITION PURPOSE:
The purpose of the cage cashier is to accommodate individuals needs in accordance to TLC Enterprises, Inc. goals.  Duties include but are not limited to the cashing out of chips, tickets and checks.  Issuance and redemption of markers, front money and safekeeping transactions.  Making change or the exchange of coins for bills.  Cage cashiers require knowledge of “Title 31” and all forms required to complete these transactions.  Cage cashiers are also required to ensure that their work area is clean and neat and to safeguard all company assets.
 
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  1. Be responsible for a window with an impress bankroll.
  2. Responsible for the accurate completion of all window transactions.
  3. Verify all transactions by counting chips and cash in full view of the guest and not obstruct the view of surveillance.
  4. Completes buy/transfer forms to replenish the cash/coin supply in accordance with company procedures.
  5. Disburse jackpots/fills when relevant procedures have been completed.
  6. Maintains a friendly, helpful and polite attitude towards guests and coworkers.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned.
 
 
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL and ABILITY:
  1. Ability to work well with large cash amounts.
  2. Working knowledge of the computer and ability to utilize excel spreadsheets and other computer programs as necessary
  3. Ability to obtain the appropriate work authorization per gaming regulations.
  4. Ability to work in a drug free environment and pass a chemical dependency test as required.
  5. Outgoing personality who enjoys dealing with people.
 
 
OTHER:

Education:  High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
