What will you be doing?

As a Breakfast Line Cook you will ensure an exceptional dining experience by preparing and cooking quality dishes, maintaining fresh and well-presented buffet items, and keeping kitchen and dining areas clean. You will monitor ingredient quality, manage stock levels efficiently, provide attentive guest service, and support overall dining operations as needed.

Breakfast Line Cook responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
• Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
• Cook food in various utensils or grillers
• Check food while cooking to stir or turn
• Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
• Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
• Check quality of ingredients
• Maintaining the kitchen to be in accordance with SC DHEC Guidelines
• Monitor stock and stock products when there are shortages
• Inventory maintenance duties such as rotating product, assisting with the food orders, and putting away truck deliveries appropriately in accordance to SC DHEC guidelines
• Other duties as assigned

What are we looking for?

• Ability to work 5am - 12pm shifts
• 1 year of  line cook experience required
• Experience with inventory maintenance
• Must be 18 or older
• Weekend availability required
• Prior kitchen/line cook experience required
• Passion for providing exceptional service to guests and team members
• Strong attention and care to details
• Responsibility, reliability and honesty
• Teamwork and collaboration
