We are seeking an experienced Board Certified Family Medicine Physician or a Board-Certified Internal Medicine Physician with exceptional knowledge, professional skills, and a caring, friendly ability to provide a high standard of primary and continuing medical care to our patients.

This position will work primarily with our Concierge Medicine and our Executive Health programs. The perfect family medicine physician or internal medicine physician must be comfortable working as a team with ancillary staff and is willing to abide by The Greenbrier Clinic’s standards and protocols. Job Responsibilities:

  • Practice active listening and excellent communication skills with patients, their families and all staff, addressing patient concerns as the highest priority
  • Conduct routine adult physicals and respond to patients' medical/health concerns by referring to their history and carrying out investigation, diagnosis, treatment and referrals as appropriate
  • Contribute to the delivery of patient services with other physicians and supportive staff as a team in order to collaborate on diagnoses
  • Collect, record and maintain patient information, such as medical history, reports and examination results, and document treatments on digital charting software, adhering to the Greenbrier Clinic’s medical charting standards, including ongoing progress notes and test results
  • Discuss side-effects, best conditions for use, and possible interactions of medication
  • Provide education to patients and families regarding medical conditions and their treatment options, as well as preventative care strategies of nutrition, exercise and hygiene

Job Skills & Qualifications Required:

·         Current MD or DO licensure in the state of West Virginia

·         Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, patience and empathy

·         Excellent patient management skills

·         Integrity and strong professional code of ethics

Preferred:

·         Experience in a direct care clinic setting
