The Bell Attendant & Valet plays a key role in delivering that first impression—welcoming guests, assisting with luggage, offering local insights, and providing efficient valet services. This guest-facing role sets the tone for a warm, helpful, and memorable Gravity Haus experience. 


What You'll Do

 

  • Greet guests and members warmly upon arrival and departure.
  • Assist with luggage handling, room orientation, and general building overview. 
  • Safely park and retrieve guest vehicles, providing prompt valet service with attention to detail. 
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front drive, valet stand, and luggage carts. 
  • Refresh lobby amenities like infused water and fresh fruit. 
  • Assist with property upkeep including snow removal and lot tidiness when necessary. 
  • Offer information about hotel amenities, Gravity Haus membership benefits, and local recommendations. 
  • Communicate proactively with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences. 
  • Provide anticipatory guest service by observing needs and responding quickly. 
  • Assist with guest and member requests, and escalate any concerns to the appropriate manager. 
  • Monitor the lobby for safety, cleanliness, and comfort. 
  • Uphold hotel security procedures and respect the privacy and belongings of our guests.

  • Must possess a valid and current driver’s license with a clean driving record. 
  • Ability to pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) check and background screening. 
  • Comfortable and experienced driving a variety of vehicles, including manual transmissions. 
  • Strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and responsible driving at all times

Requirements

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy luggage.
  • Knowledge of local attractions and services.

Physical Requirements

  • The position may require standing for extended periods, lifting heavy objects, and working in various weather conditions.

Scheduling Requirements

  • Friday 2-6:00pm 
  • Saturday 10am-2:00pm / 2-6:00pm 
  • Sunday 10am-2:00pm / 2-6:00pm
