They are seeking a
talented Bartender to join their Food & Beverage team. This is an opportunity to deliver exceptional beverage service in a vibrant, guest-focused setting while being part of a brand known as the
Mother City’s most loved hotel.
Key Responsibilities
- Beverage Service: Prepare and serve cocktails, wines, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair.
- Guest Experience: Build rapport with guests, offer recommendations, and create memorable bar experiences.
- Upselling & Revenue Growth: Promote specials, suggest pairings, and contribute to overall sales targets.
- Bar Hygiene & Organisation: Ensure the bar is clean, stocked, and compliant with hygiene and safety standards.
- Stock & Inventory Control: Support daily stock counts, monitor usage, and report wastage.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues and the Bar Manager to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Minimum 1 year bartending experience in a hotel or restaurant environment.
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beers, and wines.
- POS and cash-handling skills advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure.
- Physically fit and able to work standing for long periods.
- Valid South African ID (essential).
