Job Summary:

The Bar Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the bar area within the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest service, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety, and supporting the bar team to deliver a memorable experience. This role involves supervising staff, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with hospitality standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities: Operational Duties:
  • Supervise bar staff during shifts, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service.
  • Monitor bar setup, cleanliness, and presentation according to hotel standards.
  • Ensure all beverages are prepared and served according to recipes and quality standards.
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
Staff Management:
  • Assist in training, mentoring, and evaluating bar staff.
  • Schedule shifts and manage staff attendance and performance.
  • Foster a positive team environment and encourage high morale.
Inventory & Financials:
  • Monitor stock levels and place orders to avoid shortages or overstocking.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and ensure proper storage of beverages and supplies.
  • Assist in managing bar budgets and controlling costs.
Compliance & Safety:
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including hygiene and sanitation standards.
  • Enforce responsible alcohol service policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records for audits and inspections.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Proven experience in a bar or hospitality supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
  • Knowledge of beverage preparation, mixology, and bar equipment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Certification in hospitality or food & beverage management is a plus.
Working Conditions:
