Job Description

Elevate events and ensure flawless execution. Creating unforgettable experiences for our guests is at the forefront of this role as you partner with the Director of Banquets to create unforgettable experiences.

Partner with the Director of Banquets to;

  • Coordinate and oversee the execution of banquet events, ensuring all details align with client specifications and company standards.
  • Collaborate with event planners, clients, and internal teams to understand event requirements and customize banquet setups accordingly.
  • Supervise banquet staff, including servers and support staff, to ensure seamless event operations and exceptional service delivery.
  • Manage logistics such as room setup, audio-visual equipment, and catering to guarantee events run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Resolve issues and address client concerns promptly during events to maintain a positive customer experience.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining banquet service standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct pre- and post-event meetings to review details, gather feedback, and implement improvements for future events.

Pay $75,000 - 80,000

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in banquet or food & beverage operations, with a minimum of 1–2 years in a supervisory or managerial role in a hotel or event venue.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, including the ability to train, motivate, and schedule a diverse team of banquet staff.
  • Excellent organizational and event coordination abilities, with a focus on attention to detail, time management, and the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills, with a focus on client satisfaction, conflict resolution, and maintaining positive guest experiences.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations, banquet setup standards, and audio/visual requirements, with the ability to work collaboratively with culinary, sales, and AV departments.
