Job Requirements:
- Ready to be placed at ASTON Malang Hotel & Conference Center, East Java.
- Min. Education Bachelor Degree.
- Min 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Have Experience working in the hotel Industry is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, foster a positive work environment, and drive Sales team.
- Experience in handling Sales activities in the hotel.
Administration
- To assist in the preparation and update of Departmental Operations Manuals.
- To attend regular departmental communications meetings and ensure departmental briefings and meetings are effective and conducted as necessary.
Customer Service
- To monitor that all hotel employees deliver the brand promise and provide exceptional guest service at all times, providing positive and constructive feedback as necessary to the respective Head of Department
- To ensure Marketing employees also provide excellent service to internal customers in other departments as appropriate.
- To handle all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to ensure problems are resolved satisfactorily.
Financial
Marketing
- To assist the Director of Marketing / Sales and the revenue departments in maximising revenue and yield through business trend analysis, highlighting areas of opportunity and ensuring delivery and maintenance of optimum data mining, revenue management, pricing and distribution strategies on an ongoing basis.
- To assist with inventory and forecasting methods of both FIT and group business, to ensure optimal strategies and controls are in place to minimise displacement and maximise total hotel revenues.
- To monitor and provide feedback on the hotel’s effective use of Aston systems, tools and procedures in areas of business intelligence, revenue management, inventory management and dynamic pricing to maximise Aston competitive advantage in the marketplace.
- To manage the re-engineering and enforcement of business processes in all areas to ensure data cleanliness and data integrity.
- To conduct training with Front Office employees to ensure correct procedures are in place at check in and check out to ensure the availability and validity of data for analysis.
Personnel
- To assist in the recruitment and selection of the Marketing Analyst. To follow hotel guidelines when recruiting and use a competency-based approach to selection.
- To ensure the punctuality and appearance of the Marketing Analyst, making sure that he/she wears the correct uniform and maintains a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene, according to the hotel and department’s grooming standards.
- To conduct annual Performance Development Discussions and to support the Marketing Analyst in his/her professional development goals.
- To maximise the effectiveness of the Marketing Analyst by developing his/her skills and abilities through the appropriate training, coaching, and/or mentoring.
- To ensure that the Marketing Analyst has a complete understanding of and adheres to employee rules and regulations and policies and regulations relating to fire and hazard safety, and security.
- To support the implementation of changes as a result of the Employee Opinion Survey.

- To be more responsible and concern about the sales result of over all hotel performance and to achieve the sales objective assigned by the superiors.
Relations:
- Direct supervisor will be Asst. Director of Sales with the co-ordination of Director of Sales
- To work closely with other department concern for account arrangement and requirements.
Replacement & Temporary mission:
- Performs related duties and special projects assigned by the Asst. DoS or DoS from time to time
Other Duties
