Assistant Cage Shift Supervisor
 
 
POSITION PURPOSE:
Assists the Shift Supervisor in coordinating the activities of all cage cashiers.  Will perform all duties of the shift manager in their absence.  Must know and understand “BSA/Title 31” and all forms needed to complete these transactions.  Safeguard all company assets.
 
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  1. Schedules personnel on an assigned shift.
  2. Responsible for the accurate completion of all shift work.
  3. Maintain harmony among Team Members and resolves grievances.
  4. Handles guest related problems.
  5. Supports and maintains Binions courtesy guidelines.
  6. Promote outstanding guest relations.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned.
  8. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s polices and applicable laws.
  9. Responsibilities include training Team Members; planning assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining Team Members; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
 
 
 
OTHER:
Regular attendance in conformance with the standards which may be established by Four Queens from time to time is essential to the successful performance of this position.  Team Members with irregular attendance will be subject to Four Queens disciplinary action up to and including termination of Four Queens employment.
 
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, Team Members may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
 
Upon employment, all Team Members are required to fully comply with Four Queens policies and procedures for the safe and efficient operation of company facilities.  Team Members who violate Company policies and procedures are subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
 
Education:  High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and a minimum of one year or prior related supervisory experience.
 
Language Skills:  Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of guests or Team Members of organization.
 
Reasoning Ability:  Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
 
Licenses or Certificates:  Ability to obtain the appropriate work authorization per gaming regulations.
