Role Overview
Hotel Rehabs, LLC is seeking an Assistant Superintendent based in Mexico to support hotel renovation projects across the United States. This role works exclusively on U.S. projects and does not support work in Mexico. The Assistant Superintendent will work on-site to help manage daily operations, ensure quality execution, and support schedule, safety, and subcontractor coordination.
This position requires a Civil Engineering or Architecture degree and either an active TN visa or the ability to obtain a TN visa prior to starting employment.

Purpose of the Role
The Assistant Superintendent is managing the full on-site renovation process, from planning through closeout. Acting as ownership’s onsite representative, this role helps drive efficiency, quality, safety, and coordination across all trades while supporting strong relationships with property staff, owners, and subcontractors.
Duties and Responsibilities
Project Support
• Accountability for ongoing and final punch lists
• Drive project schedule tracking and adjustments
• Assist with RFIs and change orders
• Monitor quality and progress onsite
Business and Coordination
• Support subcontractor and vendor coordination
• Participate in regular meetings with hotel representatives
• Assist with budget awareness and cost tracking
Subcontractor Support
• Help coordinate local subcontractors
• Support compliance and documentation tracking
• Responsible for supervising scopes of work and daily task coordination
• Help maintain clean and safe job sites
Materials and Logistics
• Coordinate FF&E and material receiving, inventory, and installation
• Help track storage bins and ensure material security
Safety
• Assist with safety meetings and trainings
• Ensure workers have appropriate safety equipment
• Support accident reporting and documentation
Qualifications
Required
• Civil Engineering or Architecture degree
• 2 to 7 years of commercial construction experience
• Strong understanding of construction documents and plans
• Strong English communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project
• TN visa or ability to obtain a TN visa prior to start date
Preferred
• Direct hotel renovation or hotel construction experience
• Fluency in English
• Familiarity with Smartsheets
• Enthusiasm for travel and working onsite across the U.S.
Working Conditions
Team Environment
The Assistant Superintendent works closely with Hotel Rehabs leadership, hotel representatives, subcontractors, and vendors.
Location and Travel
Projects are located throughout the United States. The Assistant Superintendent will stay at each job site for the duration of the project. All travel and lodging expenses are covered by Hotel Rehabs, LLC.
Schedule
Work typically occurs Monday through Saturday. Some projects may require Sunday or after-hours work.
Physical Requirements
This role requires regular onsite presence, extended periods on your feet, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
