We are looking for an Assistant Stewarding Manager who will support the Executive Chef, overseeing the day-to-day operation of the Stewarding Department. This person will have strong leadership, interpersonal and analytical skills is able to prioritize and adapt to the changing needs of the operation, and can evidence having a solid work ethic, good business acumen and a passion for service. Prior experience in a mixed-use residential hotel is preferred. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

• Oversees the talent acquisition, training, supervising and performance management of the Stewarding team  
• The handling and storage of all detergent and chemicals for cleaning  

• Ensure all operating equipment is in solid working condition, properly stored and keep consistent control of par stock  
• Monitor and enforce hygiene standards in accordance with the hotel requirement  
• Ensures the operating equipment is cleaned and handled in a proper way in order to prolong its use  
• Maintain inventory and partner with Engineering on breakage prevention control  
• Ensures all F&B outlets are efficiently equipped, and all equipment are handled properly in the daily operation 

Preferred Qualifications and Skills: 

• Preferred knowledge of stewarding, cost control and labor control  
• Previous leadership experience in a luxury hotel setting  

• Education: College degree preferred or similar experience  
• Good command of the English language.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred
