Supports the daily operations and development of our luxury full-service Spa, ensuring an exceptional guest and employee experience in alignment with Four Seasons standards. This role assists in managing the team, overseeing service areas, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and compliance, and driving the financial success and innovation of the Spa.
What you will do:
· Support the Director of Spa in leadership and direction for Spa, Fitness, and Salon facility.
· Assist in Recruiting, interviewing and selecting certified therapists, nail technicians, estheticians, spa receptionists, hair stylists, and attendants with an eye for appropriate credentials and training.
· Schedule staff and complete payroll records in accordance with budgeted guidelines.
· Monitor inventory, purchasing, and retail operations including quarterly inventory and creating purchase orders.
· Collaborate with the Director of Spa on establishing treatment protocols for cutting edge spa treatments and massage therapies, conducting professional training and compliance in Four Seasons service standards utilizing a high degree of Spa product knowledge to develop indigenous and specialized treatments that will distinguish our Spa from the competition.
· Assist with managing a Spa and Fitness facility with proven skills in budgeting, forecasting, yield management, utilization, menu management, and retail management.
· Market our Spa and Fitness facility as a world-renowned Spa, generating positive P.R. and awards in publications such as Conde Nast, Travel and Leisure, and Spa Magazine in an environment of growing competition.
· Train staff in effective Sales techniques to build treatment and retail revenues.
· Maintain compliance in all Health Code and Licensing requirements of the State of Florida.
· Respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
· Resolve all serious guest interactions in a professional and capable manner.
What you bring:
· Training and credentials to include degree or appropriate equivalent in one of the following areas of study - Hotel/Hospitality Management, Spa Management, or Exercise Physiology.
· Minimum of three years Spa management experience.
· Experience in luxury hospitality/spa is required.
· Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate a diverse team.
· Extensive knowledge of spa operations, treatments, retail, and service trends.
· Strong organizational and time management skills in a high-paced environment.
· Familiarity with spa booking systems (Book4Time preferred), and tools such as Opera, Birchstreet, and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Ability to work collaboratively across departments and deliver a warm, professional guest experience
· Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 25 lbs.
· Ability to work any scheduled days of the week and times of the day may vary based on business need, including holidays.
· An excellent service attitude and willingness to go out of the way to accommodate guests and exceed their expectations.
