Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Assistant of the Director of Food & Beverage to join our team in the beautiful Playa del Carmen, Mexico. In this role, you will provide crucial support to the Director of Food & Beverage, ensuring smooth operations across our food and beverage outlets.

• Assist the Director of Food & Beverage in overseeing daily operations of restaurants, bars, and banquet facilities
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless service delivery
• Manage administrative tasks, including scheduling, inventory management, and report generation
• Support the development and implementation of new food and beverage concepts
• Assist in menu planning and pricing strategies
• Monitor and maintain quality standards across all food and beverage outlets
• Participate in staff training and development initiatives
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
• Assist in budgeting and cost control measures
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all food service areas

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• 2-3 years of experience in food and beverage management or related field
• Experience in luxury hospitality settings is a plus
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish
• In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Customer service orientation with a passion for hospitality
• Understanding of food and beverage industry trends
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in food service
