In this impactful role, you'll be responsible for generating new business, nurturing key partnerships, and driving group and banquet revenue across three premier hotels—all while representing our brand as a trusted and engaged community partner.

Marcus Hotels & Resorts, the leading hotel ownership and management company in Milwaukee, is seeking an Account Manager- Non-Profit Markets to drive business for three of the city’s most iconic properties\: the Hilton Milwaukee – A premier convention headquarters hotel; the Pfister Hotel – A recently renovated, historic luxury hotel; and Saint Kate – The Arts Hotel – A vibrant, creative hub for the arts and events. With a total of 1,255 guest rooms and over 60,000 square feet of meeting and event space, this role offers the opportunity to secure high-value business, cultivate lasting client relationships, and contribute to the continued success of these landmark hotels. 

What you will be doing:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with nonprofit organizations, serving as a trusted and engaged community partner.
  •  Identify and secure new group business opportunities through proactive outreach, networking, and local visibility.
  • Represent our hotels at nonprofit events, tradeshows, and meetings, showcasing our unique event capabilities—from board meetings to major fundraising galas.
  • Craft tailored proposals including BEOs and client menus while conducting impactful site experiences that align with each organization’s mission and goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of events, from planning through post-event follow-up and billing.
  • Meet and exceed business development goals within the nonprofit market segment.
  • Maintain accurate records, forecasts, and documentation using Delphi and other sales tools.
  • Champion a culture of creativity, service, and community impact within both the hotel and local nonprofit sector.
  • Other duties as assigned.  

What You Will Bring:

  • 3–5 years of hotel sales or hospitality experience, with proficiency in Delphi and Microsoft Office and business acumen in revenue areas.
  • Community-driven with a passion for relationship-building and making a positive impact.
  • Proven ability to connect and collaborate with nonprofit leaders, including Executive and Development Directors.
  • Confident networker and polished communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
  • Skilled in sales strategy, negotiation, project management, and closing deals to drive group business success.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage leads, contracts, follow-ups, and accurate record-keeping.
  • Goal-focused and data-driven, with a track record of meeting sales targets and maintaining conversion rates.
  • Willing to travel up to 25% to maintain visibility, foster partnerships, and grow market presence.
