Financial Controller - Luxury Hotel Collection - Franschhoek

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a prestigious luxury hotel collection in Franschhoek, known for its refined guest experiences and exceptional service standards. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and detail-oriented Financial Controller to join a dynamic hospitality team and contribute to the smooth financial operations of an exclusive hotel group.

• Process and capture invoices accurately, ensuring all necessary approvals are in place.
• Manage supplier reconciliations, payments, and petty cash.
• Assist with payroll submissions, monthly billing cycles, and financial reporting.
• Maintain up-to-date and compliant financial records, including VAT and customs submissions.
• Support audits and assist with ad-hoc financial requests.

• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience (hospitality experience advantageous).
• Knowledge of Sage Evolution and Protel PMS is beneficial.
• Strong MS Office and organisational skills.
• Financial qualification or diploma advantageous.
• Attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to perform under pressure.
• Preference will be given to candidates based in or near Franschhoek.
